New color comes as cumulative sales of NTT DOCOMO Inc.'s Raku-Raku Phone series break the 20 million unit mark; the new mint green version will be available nationwide from August 26, 2011 through sales partner NTT DOCOMO.

Tokyo, August 18, 2011

Fujitsu today announced it will complement its lineup in the Raku-Raku Phone series with a soft mint green-colored mobile phone featuring patterns of pale-green clovers and elegant lace. The Raku-Raku Phone series, manufactured by Fujitsu, has proven a huge hit among its main target audience of senior citizen users since the F671i mobile phone model made its debut in September 2001.

Fujitsu aims to even further boost the level of satisfaction of this well-received product lineup of gold, dark silver, pink and red mobile phones, among an even greater number of customers.

  • Smile detector
This feature trips the shutter automatically when it detects that the subjects are smiling.
  • Automatic scene recognition
The camera automatically recognizes different scenes, such as landscapes, portraits, night scenes, and close-up shots, and changes shooting modes accordingly. It can also recognize QR (quick response) codes automatically.
  • High-sensitivity mode equivalent to ISO 12,800(3)
With a maximum sensitivity equivalent to ISO 12,800, the camera can shoot in the dark and produce bright photos without blurring.
  • Finger-in-frame alarm
The camera automatically detects if the user's finger is obscuring the lens, and immediately notifies the user by displaying an alert message on the screen.
  • Tracking focus

In addition, a built-in optical sensor measures ambient light and automatically adjusts the screen's brightness to suit surrounding conditions.
  • Universal Design font
The font used on this mobile phone is a refinement over its predecessor, and preserves space between characters and around diacritic marks for noticeably improved readability.

This application monitors and measures golf-swing movements when the Raku-Raku Phone 7 is clipped to the user's waist. Using this data, the mobile phone provides a diagnosis of the swing and advice for improvement based on the principles developed by professional golfer, Mr. Tadashi Ezure.
