Wuxi, March 10, 2009

Fujitsu Quality Laboratory Limited and the Wuxi Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau, a government agency that conducts mandatory inspections in order to raise the quality of products manufactured in China, today announced that they have established a joint testing facility, Fujitsu Quality Laboratory (Wuxi), to provide quality assurance services to manufacturers of electrical and electronic components and other parts in China.

Starting today, Fujitsu Quality Laboratory (Wuxi) will offer a range of technical services in the areas of quality assessments, material analysis, failure analysis, and quality improvement, as well as training and consulting services. In so doing, Fujitsu Quality Laboratory and the Wuxi Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau will support China's component manufacturers, including local affiliates of Japanese companies, in raising the quality and reliability of their products. The facility will also contribute to improving the level of technical sophistication in quality assessments, quality analysis, and product assessments as well as the level of quality management and quality assurance.
