Image of SaaS Model Services Delivery
Background
In recent years, amid changes in the business environment, the spread of broadband access, and the emergence of new web technologies, customers have faced the difficult challenge of upgrading their systems while controlling their overall IT spending. In addition, businesses must address other urgent issues, such as the scarcity of qualified employees for IT operations and how best to allocate these employees.
Against this backdrop, there is growing interest in the SaaS model, in which customers access cutting-edge IT capabilities through a data center without purchasing and maintaining their own hardware, software, and networking systems.
SaaS Solutions and Partner Support Program
To meet these customer needs, Fujitsu will offer a set of SaaS services, consisting of its FENICS II network services, IT hardware and software platforms, applications, and utility services, such as user verification and payment systems, as well as combinations of services in tailored outsourcing proposals.
SaaS Solutions Delivery Structure
At the same time, in order to enable medium-sized and small business customers to use the SaaS system environment, Fujitsu is offering to partners a new SaaS Partner Program, in which Fujitsu provides SaaS marketing and deployment support to software vendors. The goal of the program is to jointly develop SaaS business in collaboration with key partners and encourage the adoption of the SaaS model among a range of businesses, large and small.
Fujitsu is committed to delivering a comprehensive package of optimized and highly reliable SaaS solutions from its data centers. By leveraging the technological edge Fujitsu has gained in building systems for customers and the company's accumulated expertise in operating data centers, customers can quickly and economically use SaaS system environments without purchasing and maintaining their own IT assets. Customers can now access the IT capabilities they need when they need them, accelerating the transformation of their businesses through operational efficiency and optimal allocation of resources.
