Spatial multiplexing transmission technology that, using the same frequency, simultaneously transmits and receives different signals from multiple antennas. As a core technology of Super 3G communications, it enables a dramatic increase in the speed of wireless transmissions without increasing the frequency bandwidth.
[2] 3GPP (3rd Generation Partnership Project)
A partnership project to create detailed specifications for IMT-2000 W-CDMA. Standard-setting organizations for each country or region will adopt the specifications created by the 3GPP as the standards for their respective country or region.
