Fujitsu to Host Fujitsu Forum 2006

- Integrating Management & IT for Competitive Advantage: Taking On Tomorrow's Business Challenges Together -

Fujitsu Limited today announced that it will be holding a two-day event, Fujitsu Forum 2006 on May 18 (Thursday) and 19 (Friday) at the Tokyo International Forum. This is the largest annual event hosted by Fujitsu, and it will demonstrate the specific ways in which the company, in its role as a key business partner to its customers, can harness its extensive capabilities and technological strengths to help foster innovation on the front lines of business.

Under the theme of "Integrating Management & IT for Competitive Advantage: Taking On Tomorrow's Business Challenges Together," Fujitsu Forum 2006 will feature speeches and seminars by business leaders, academic experts, and government officials as well as executives from Fujitsu. It will also showcase cutting-edge products and solutions from Fujitsu that support the creation of robust management systems for customers.

As dramatic change reshapes the business environment and society as a whole, and with the increasing penetration of IT into the fabric of our lives, corporations need to integrate management with IT in order to build and maintain a competitive advantage.

To give shape to the theme of Integrating Managing & IT, Fujitsu Forum 2006 will introduce a variety of applications and real-world examples to illustrate the transformations IT can bring about on the front lines of business as well as in people's daily lives.

The exhibition will introduce products and solutions that specifically solve the problems facing today's business and IT managers, including the optimization of IT infrastructure, maintenance of business continuity, and management of information security.
