Fujitsu Limited Announces Executive Appointments

Following an extraordinary meeting of its board of directors today, Fujitsu Limited announced the following executive appointments and changes. The appointments will take effect pending approval at the 104th General Shareholders' Meeting, scheduled for June 23, 2004.
Candidates for the Board of Directors (new appointments only):

Following resignation from the board, Junji Maeyama is expected to be appointed as President, Fujitsu Support and Service Inc., and Michio Fujisaki to be appointed as Executive Advisor to Fujitsu Laboratories Ltd.
Candidates for auditors:
At the expiration of term for auditors Takashi Takaya, Shin Koizumi, Yasuyuki Wakahara and Takeo Kato, the following candidates for auditors will be nominated at the annual shareholders’ meeting.

Pending approval at a special meeting of the board of directors following the annual shareholders' meeting, Akira Takashima, currently Member of the Board and Corporate Executive Vice President, will become Vice Chairman and Member of the Board.
