This time, Fujitsu established The 3rd stage of "Environmental Protection Program of Fujitsu Group", which covers targets to be fulfilled by the end of fiscal 2003, in order to contribute to a recycling-based society and reducing the burden on the global environment.
In this program, we adopt "Focused on the Green"-Green Life 21 - as the slogan, and expand the environmental measures from only factory activities to environmental improvement activities with all the employees' participation.
Moreover, to implement environmental activities in every business field in which the Fujitsu Group participates.
Main features are as follows.
(1) Making all products "Green Product" (eco-friendly product, lead solder abolition is included)
(2) Thoroughgoing green procurement
(3) Expansion of product recycling
(4) Measure against energy saving for electric power, oil, and gas
(5) Waste zero-emission containing domestic wastes (kitchen garbage etc.)
(6) Expansion of the kinds of chemicals to be reduced
