Under the theme of “Creating a New Standard for High-speed Scanners; Empowering the Era of the Digital Workplace”, Fujitsu Hong Kong announced its scanning business’ direction and strategy at a press conference in Beijing this quarter. During the event the imaging business also showcased the latest high-speed scanner series, the fi-series, for enterprise users and the ScanSnap series for professional users.

Leading China’s scanner market since 2008, Fujitsu recorded a nearly 40% market share in 2012, according to the latest IDC research. Fujitsu prides itself on providing tailor-made scanning solutions to accommodate different industries’ needs. Andrew Tsang, General Manager, Imaging Business, Fujitsu Hong Kong, promised that Fujitsu will leverage its 40 years+ experience and technological innovation to optimize customers’ business flows and transform the traditional workplace to a digital one, creating a greener, more efficient and dynamic work environment.

Earlier this quarter Fujitsu held a forum in Shanghai, China, under the theme of “Reshaping ICT for Tomorrow”, with over 1,300 visitors.

During the forum Fujitsu showcased its latest scanners at the IBD booth to more than 200 visitors, highlighting the fi-7180, fi-7260, fi-6670, fi-6800 and SV600. Software solutions which spanned various sectors such as manufacturing, banking, insurance, logistics and healthcare imaging were also demonstrated. Fujitsu’s “Document Imaging Solution” was ranked as the “2nd most well-received showcase.”
