Our Value Realization methodology leverages the ResultsChain™ technique to articulate the outcome logic of an organization's strategy. We start by focusing on what the strategy or program must achieve in terms of outcomes. We then focus on the notion of the contributions made through activities undertaken by the organization and link them to those strategic outcomes.

For example, strategy and business change programs typically involve a complex set of interactions in order to achieve strategic business outcomes. So - we focus on those connections and dependencies to ensure initiatives are linked, traceable, and contribute value to the desired outcomes.

Fujitsu uses structured interviews, and two or three workshops to develop an Enterprise Strategic Roadmap. Once completed, you will have a graphic visualization based on a common understanding of all the required initiatives for successful transformation. This graphical representation will help all your stakeholders understand the path forward.

It will also foster consensus among stakeholder groups by surfacing differences in understanding and assumptions related to the strategy and how it will subsequently be implemented. All too often, strategy is fuzzy and one dimensional. For example-if we do this, then this happens. When in reality, there may be many interdependencies.

Part of the benefits plan, is the Value Register which tracks the outcomes realized through a business transformation program. It is the Value Register that drives measurement and accountability for the benefits plan, and which can be used to answer the critical questions: “have we achieved success for our transformation–and how do we really know?"

Both components are needed to fully describe and measure an organization’s strategy or business change program. The Fujitsu consultants are experts in using, adapting, and transferring the knowledge, and understanding gained in using these techniques to our clients.
