Fujitsu Receives Extended Managed IT Infrastructure and Data Center Services Contract from Orion

Helsinki, May 30, 2018 – Fujitsu today announced that Finnish pharmaceutical leader Orion has renewed a managed IT infrastructure and Data Center Services contract for the second consecutive time.
The pharmaceutical sector is controlled by strict regulations that cover not only the safety and availability of drugs, but that also govern the management and reliability of the industry as a whole. As a leading developer of pharmaceuticals, Orion’s mission is to meet or exceed these requirements while excelling in improving the well-being and health of its customers. By outsourcing the management of its technology to Fujitsu, Orion is able focus on achieving these objectives.
The latest agreement extends Fujitsu’s management of Orion’s IT infrastructure and Data Center Services across 27 countries, including three major pharmaceutical production facilities in Finland. It also includes ongoing responsibility for managing Orion’s desktop, communication and capacity services, delivery of Office 365, security, network and end user devices, and the coordination of the entire lifecycle of the pharmaceutical expert’s 3,400 workstations.
