Job Title Service Architect
Responsibilities
  • Lead presales opportunities including service models, response content, financials, and identifying and mitigating deal risks from opportunity qualification through negotiation
  • Provides input into Go/No Go recommendations to the MS management team.
  • Deliver a well-defined set of service design documents in a timely manner presenting an end to end seamless service.
  • Being strategically involved in service delivery and sales support to maximize and oversee results.
  • Support opportunities qualification, managing sales and customer expectations.
  • Support producing new content including design documents, proposals and presales slide materials.
  • Conduct solution presentations to customers.
Requirements
  • 10+ years’ experience in the IT industry with Managed Services (communications, network, data center, managed services) experience.
  • Customer facing experience in a Service Design role including presales, Managed Service frameworks, financials and contracts expertise.
  • Experience working with multiple subject matter experts to bring together service and technical components.
  • Track record of consultative selling and wider solution design; competency and business acumen to assess and qualify opportunities.
  • Strong financial and contractual experience in the Managed Services arena.
  • Manages architecture cost elements to support business profitability, risk management, and competitive pricing.
  • Provides leadership support to pursuit teams for customer-facing presales activities.
  • Experience in working contract documents including master agreements, adoption agreements and service levels.
  • Competent in creating and negotiating Statements of Work.
  • Good understanding of Cloud, Data Center, Collaboration, VDI, and IoT concepts.
  • Broad understanding of Service solutions (Servers, Storage, Network, Backup, Desktop, Monitoring & Management, Maintenance, and Deployments).
  • Expertise on service cost models and creating innovative solutions to drive competitive advantage.
  • Deep understanding of IT Service management, preferably with delivery experience, including automation and orchestration.
  • Managed services experience including successful solutions scoping, quoting and selling with a managed services provider and/or IT infrastructure consulting firm.
  • Strong understanding of Cloud and data center technologies, competitive offerings in the marketplace and landscape of cloud solution providers.
  • Experience designing Global or multi-region services solutions.
  • Proven track record of in-depth experience within Managed Services infrastructure.
  • Deep understanding of ITIL concepts.
  • A “can do” attitude putting the customer first.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, written and presentation skills
