Striving to overcome heart disease through advanced simulation
Heart disease is one of major fatal diseases in Japan and even in the world.
Using heart simulation technology in hospitals and clinics would be possible in the future if we use supercomputers' massive calculation power.
Dr. Kadooka at Fujitsu met Prof. Toshiaki Hisada in Graduate School of Frontier Sciences at The University of Tokyo, who had already started his heart simulation researches. They headed off together for clinical usage in the new area.
This is one of Fujitsu's ambitious stories with Prof. Toshiaki Hisada to contribute to a better medical treatment.
