Modifications

Changes from V3.2L80 to V3.2L91

 New Features and Improved Points:
  • macOS Sierra is now supported.
  • Disabling of the TLS 1.0 cryptographic protocols by Salesforce is supported.
    To link with Salesforce Chatter, OS X v10.9 or later is required. Unable to link with Salesforce Chatter on OS X v10.8 or earlier because OS X v10.8 or earlier does not support TLS 1.1 cryptographic protocols.
  • The linked application name [Scan to Google Docs(TM)] has been changed to [Scan to Google Drive].

Apply this update to install the latest version of ScanSnap Manager for Mac.

Installation Procedures

Note:
If you perform the update online, the following procedure will not be necessary. Follow the instructions on the online update screen.

How to update

  1. Be sure you log into macOS/Mac OS X/OS X as a user with administrator privileges.
  2. Download "MacScanSnapV32L91UpWWA.dmg" onto your hard drive.
    Make sure you have enough free disk space (at least more than twice the download file size) for installing the programs.
  3. Quit any applications that are running on your computer.
  4. Power off or disconnect the ScanSnap scanner.
  5. Execute the downloaded "MacScanSnapV32L91UpWWA.dmg" file.
  6. Execute "MacScanSnapV32L91UpWW.pkg" that is deployed from the .dmg file to start the update installation.
  7. Follow the instructions from the Installation Wizard to complete the installation. Select [Open] when the message "xxxxx is an application downloaded from the Internet. Are you sure you want to open it?" appears during installation.

Now that you have completed the update, please refer to the icon-pdf Readme file prior to use.

Notice

  • A Salesforce account is required to use Salesforce Chatter.
  • To use SugarSync, a SugarSync account is required, and SugarSync Manager must be installed in the computer.
  • To use Evernote, an Evernote account is required, and Evernote for Mac must be installed in the computer.
  • To use Dropbox, a Dropbox account is required, and the client software of the "Dropbox" must be installed in the computer.
  • To use the Scan to Mobile function, ScanSnap Connect Application must be installed in the iPhone/iPad/iPod touch from the App Store of Apple Inc. or in the Android mobile devices from "Google Play" ("HiMarket" in China).

 New Features and Improved Points:
  • macOS Sierra is now supported.
