[Notice]

  • Only one mobile device can be wirelessly connected to PC or iX500 at one time.
    To switch mobile devices, close the ScanSnap Connect App on one device before launching it on another.
  • A Wi-Fi access point / router are required to establish a Wi-Fi connection.
  • You need to have ScanSnap Connect Application installed in the mobile device in order to use this function.
  • If you use Windows®, you need to have .NET Framework 3.0 or later installed in order to use this function.
  • To connect via Wi-Fi, iX500 must be connected to PC and a wireless configuration is required in advance.
  • To connect via USB, prior configuration on a PC is required. For details, please refer to the bundled Operator's Guide.

* To scan directly from ScanSnap iX500 to your device, we recommend iPad 2 (or later), iPhone 4S (or later) and iPod touch 4th generation (or later). The scanning speed of ScanSnap iX500 slows down with older versions.

What’s New in version 2.3.2

  • The posision of ">" icon is shifted to the right in iOS7 for easy tapping.
  • The background color in odd rows on the file list screen are changed to be lighter for higher visibility of ">" icons.

What’s New in version 2.3.1

  • Revised the user interface suitable for iOS7. An example is represented at Appendix A.

Android™

What’s New in version 2.3.1

  • The following defects are being fixed.
    • Scanning in landscape mode may cause an error or abnormal termination in the seven inches or smaller terminal with Android OS 4.0 or later.
    • When scanning in [Preview] window, [Continuous Scan] window or error dialog will appear, then return to the [Preview] window. The operation in the [Previous] window will be terminated if the image is being zoomed in.
