ScanSnap Connect Application
System Requirements / Change Note
[Notice]
- Only one mobile device can be connected to the computer or ScanSnap iX500.
- A Wi-Fi access point / router are required to establish a Wi-Fi connection.
- You need to have ScanSnap Connect Application installed in the mobile device in order to use this function.
- If you use Windows®, you need to have .NET Framework 3.0 or later installed in order to use this function.
- To connect via Wi-Fi, iX500 must be connected to PC and a wireless configuration is required in advance.
- To connect via USB, prior configuration on a PC is required. For details, please refer to the bundled Operator's Guide.

- The following error has been fixed:
- Occasionally, the application cannot be started after an update.
Changes from version 2.0.0
- Direct scanning using ScanSnap iX500 (with Wi-Fi) is supported.
- The following can be done on the File List screen:
- Rename a file
- Delete multiple files at once
- Save to “Photos” (JPEG files)
- Files in ScanSnap Connect Application can be saved to the computer via iTunes.
- iPhone 5 and iPod touch (5th generation) are supported.
Changes from version 1.1.0
- iOS 6 is supported.
- The preview image display speed has been improved (for the 3rd generation iPad).
- Misalignment of rotated and trimmed (cropped) PDF pages on the Preview screen has been corrected.

- Linkage with “Mail” from the Preview screen has been added.
- Files can be deleted automatically once they are sent to another application from the File List screen.
- The application has been verified to operate on iOS 5. (iOS 5 is supported by version 1.0.1 or later.)

- Direct scanning using ScanSnap iX500 (with Wi-Fi) is supported.
- From the File List screen, you can display the [Select] menu and then delete or move multiple files.
