The fi-5000N is the world's first PC-less network adapter armed with fingerprint authentication for simple and secure "onetouch" connectability. Used in conjunction with fi-series scanners, the f i-5000N ensures Fujitsu's customers' productivity well into the future.
By installing "Imprinter (endorser)" function which is a kind of a printer, in scanners, printing on the back or the surface of a manuscript at the time of scanning by ADF is possible. (Except for some models)
Image-processing software option is a software option for FUJITSU Image scanner fi-Series, and can perform advanced binarizing image processing by using it combining "FUJITSU TWAIN32 Scanner driver".
Scanned images can be done compression processing by JPEG.
Moreover, scanning speed of color images improves by installing Image-compression board (JPEG compression).
Advanced processing can be performed before transmitting scanned image data to image processing application, if the Image-processing board is used.
