ICMP Qualifications

To qualify for the ICMP Fujitsu Scholarship, you must be a citizen of one of the following countries/areas: State of Hawaii, Australia, China*, Cambodia, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar*, New Zealand, Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, or Vietnam*.

You must qualify for admission to ICMP. For complete information, refer to the ICMP program brochure and application documents contained in the ICMP Application Checklist section. ICMP Fujitsu Scholarship qualifications include the following:

  1. A bachelor's degree or one equivalent to a four-year standard baccalaureate degree in any discipline from a regionally or nationally accredited institution.
  2. Grade point average of a 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
  3. A minimum TOEFL score of 500/173/61 (paper/computer/Internet), TOEIC score of 600 or IELTS overall band test result of 5.00 or higher from tests taken between November 2004 and November 2006. Applicants who received a bachelor's degree or an advanced degree that comprises at least two years of full-time coursework within the last five years from a regionally accredited institution in the U.S., Australia, United Kingdom, or New Zealand; or from a university in Canada, Africa or Singapore where English is the language of instruction are exempt from taking the TOEFL, TOEIC, or IELTS.
  4. A minimum of three years of relevant full-time work experience at time of application.
