  • Regarding Media Report on Cloud Computing Business July 12, 2010 - In the July 10 edition of the Nihon Keizai Shimbun newspaper, there was an article speculating on an alleged alliance in the area of cloud computing between Microsoft and Fujitsu. The contents of this article are not based on any official announcement made by Fujitsu or interview between a Fujitsu executive and the Nihon Keizai Shimbun. Fujitsu will make an announcement in a timely manner if and when a formal decision is made.

  • Regarding the Court's Dismissal of the Immediate Appeal by Mr. Nozoe, Former President June 18, 2010 - The Tokyo High Court today upheld a June 14, 2010 decision by the Yokohama District Court, Kawasaki Branch to reject a petition filed by Mr. Kuniaki Nozoe requesting a preliminary injunction to preserve his standing as a representative director and a member of the board. Mr. Nozoe had immediately appealed the district court's decision, but his appeal has been rejected.

  • Regarding the Court's Rejection of the Petition by Mr. Nozoe, Former President June 14, 2010 - Today, the Kawasaki Branch of the Yokohama District Court issued a decision rejecting the petition filed on May 12, 2010 by Mr. Kuniaki Nozoe, requesting a preliminary injunction to preserve his standing as a representative director and a member of the board.

  • Delivery of Notice Regarding Company's Decision Not to File Suit Against Members of the Board in Response to Former President's Filing Request May 21, 2010 - On March 30, 2010, the statutory auditors of Fujitsu Limited (the "Company") received a written request from the Company's former president, Mr. Kuniaki Nozoe, requesting that the Company file suit against two members of its Board of Directors, Mr. Michiyoshi Mazuka, chairman and representative director, and Mr. Naoyuki Akikusa, senior executive advisor and director. In the request, Mr. Nozoe claimed that as a result of his alleged illegal resignation or dismissal as president and representative director, the Company was unable to realize the sale of its shares of Nifty Corporation, and consequently suffered financial losses for which these two members were responsible.

The Company was served by the court a notification of the withdrawal of the petition on April 8, 2010. The Company would like to take this opportunity to explain the background behind Mr. Nozoe's resignation and the Company's position on various aspects of the matter.
