Microsoft Hyper-V

Fujitsu’s comprehensive portfolio of course includes Microsoft’s server virtualization Hyper-V from the very start. Hyper-V as part of the Windows Server operating system is directly released for all existing and upcoming FUJITSU Server PRIMERGY as soon as they become generally available.

Microsoft’s cost-effective server virtualization provides maximum flexibility, easy management and built-in high availability mechanisms to let you benefit from all the advantages of using server virtualization. These advantages are even enhanced with Fujitsu products, services and solutions.

FUJITSU Server PRIMERGY servers and FUJITSU Storage ETERNUS are the ideal platform to run Microsoft Hyper-V. Additionally, the management of PRIMERGY, FUJITSU Software ServerView Suite, and the management of ETERNUS are fully integrated into Microsoft’s System Center. This results in a uniform management experience for your entire IT infrastructure.

Moreover, in cooperation with Microsoft we have integrated Microsoft Hyper-V into our in-house developed solutions like FUJITSU Integrated System PRIMEFLEX Cluster-in-a-box, which offers continuous availability to protect important data and business-critical services. Likewise, the application-optimized reference architectures FUJITSU Integrated System PRIMEFLEX for Exchange®, FUJITSU Integrated System PRIMEFLEX for Lync® and FUJITSU Integrated System PRIMEFLEX for SharePoint® leverage Microsoft Hyper-V, too.
