Citrix XenServer and more

The partnership between Fujitsu and Citrix has a long history and consequently Fujitsu is a founding member of the Citrix Technology Alliance.

Citrix server virtualization XenServer is part of our Fujitsu portfolio and Fujitsu Server PRIMERGY and Fujitsu Storage ETERNUS systems are the ideal platform to run Citrix XenServer. Additionally, the management of our PRIMERGY servers, Fujitsu ServerView Suite, is extended to integrate Citrix XenServer to be monitored by ServerView. This results in a uniform management experience for your entire IT infrastructure.

According to various analysts’ statements, Citrix XenServer is from the technology point of view number two in the server virtualization market. The reasonably priced product is deeply integrated with the well-established client virtualization solutions from Citrix.

Fujitsu Smart Zero Clients together with PRIMERGY servers, ETERNUS storage systems and Fujitsu network components are the basis for achieving a very high-performance, reliable and easy-to-use virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI). To have the appropriate management for your XenServer-based environment Fujitsu offers Citrix XenDesktop as the well-fitting complement management for your VDI project. In addition and especially for smaller installations together with Citrix we offer ready-to-run VDI-in-a-Box solutions which can easily be expanded.

Moreover, Fujitsu is a global system integrator of Citrix solutions. Our certified IT consultants in our local competence centers have supported the benchmarking, sizing, integration and rollout of many Citrix projects. Fujitsu accompanied Citrix thru all generations of terminal server solutions, such as Winframe, Metaframe, Presentation Server and now XenApp and Fujitsu provides XenApp, which we by the way use ourselves, and further Citrix components at your request.
