HEMT(1980)

Fujitsu was the first in the world to develop high electron mobility transistors (HEMTs) in 1980 with remarkably high speed and low noise. They made it possible for the size of parabolic antennas to be reduced, and contributed to the spread of satellite broadcasting. They are also used in applications such as mobile phones (both base stations and terminals) and automobile radar systems.
