The fi-5220C image scanner with dual interface capability (Ultra SCSI and USB 2.0) expands the market for production scanning. These features will insure Fujitsu's customers' productivity well into the future.

Although the fi-5120C, fi-5220C, fi-6140 and fi-6240 are defined by Kofax as "Desktop" scanners and would normally be bundled with the "Desktop" version of VRS, these scanners have been bundled with the "Workgroup" version of VRS in order to provide enhanced performance.

1. There are not any paper weight limitations when scanning with the flatbed.
2. Actual scanning speeds are affected by data transmission and software processing time.

Do not use aerosol sprays near the scanner.
Do not use any aerosol sprays or alcohol based sprays to clean the scanner. Dust blown up by strong air from the spray may enter the inside of the scanner. This may cause the scanner to fail or malfunction. Sparks, caused by static electricity, generated when blowing off dust and dirt from the outside of the scanner may cause a fire.
