Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) allows you to gain maximum flexibility and agility in the utilization of IT resources by allocating virtualized infrastructure from a shared pool of infrastructure, available as a service. This allows you rapidly deploy solutions to meet new business requirements, and it makes for the most economically efficient use of the resources, in which you to pay only for what you use as your needs elastically grow or shrink.
The National Institute of Standards and technology (NIST.gov) in the United defines IaaS as a form of cloud computing in which “the capability provided to the consumer is to provision processing, storage, networks, and other fundamental computing resources where the consumer is able to deploy and run arbitrary software, which can include operating systems and applications. The consumer does not manage or control the underlying cloud infrastructure but has control over operating systems, storage, deployed applications, and possibly limited control of select networking components (e.g., host firewalls).”
Fujitsu Cloud IaaS provides agile Infrastructure as a Service as part of a full Fujitsu cloud portfolio. Fujitsu provides a complete range of cloud services beginning with advisory services to help customers determine with workloads to move to which types of cloud environment, as well as migration services.
Fujitsu Cloud IaaS provides servers, storage, and network capacity as a service, along with OS (Windows, Linux), database (SQL server), load balancing, and other managed services and software offerings. The services are delivered from tier III data centers, offering consistent, uptime-based SLAs, data protection, reliability and security. We feature a self-service portal to give you maximum control of what you are using and how you are using it.
We currently offer IaaS in two forms from our own data centers, and we provide private cloud solutions that run in your own data center.
