Fujitsu Celebrates Company's Founding with Donations to Education and Technology Charities

June 20, 2022

Fujitsu Network Communications has made donations to five non-profit organizations, including Richardson ISD Foundation, Resource Area For Teaching, Indspire, National STEM Society and the Caribbean Science Foundation. The donations were made in honor of Fujitsu Day, a company-wide celebration that marks the anniversary of Fujitsu's founding in 1935. The charities were selected based on their commitments to furthering education, particularly in the Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) fields, for communities in the United States, Canada and the Caribbean.

For this year's Fujitsu Day, held on June 17, team-building innovator Impact 4 Good helped Fujitsu deliver an event that was both fun and engaging, while also supporting the communities where employees live and work. The program selected was the “Great Giveback Game Show,” where approximately 1,000 Fujitsu employees competed for the highest financial donation to go to their cause. While it was clear that the trivia masters on this day were the members of the “Caribbean Science Foundation” team, the real winners of the day were the five charities and their beneficiaries.

“Fujitsu is passionate about creating value with our customers and society,” said Annie Bogue, COO and head of sales and marketing at Fujitsu Network Communications, Inc. “Through support of these charities, we can encourage and nurture the next generation of innovators, while building a more prosperous future for all.”
