Fujitsu ScanSnap Receives “Awesome Add-On” Award

Entire Line of ScanSnap Document Scanners Honored As a Productivity Boosting Technology

Fujitsu Computer Products of America

Mississauga, ON, November 01, 2011

Fujitsu, the market leader in document imaging scanners, today announced that its entire line of ScanSnap scanners, including the S1100, S1300, and S1500(M), has been recognized by The Sleeter Group as a winner in the 2012 Awesome Add-On Awards. The lifetime award signifies ScanSnap scanners among the most productive and effective technologies designed to enhance common business management systems, helping to increase productivity and efficiency.

“Fujitsu takes pride in designing intuitive and easy-to-use scanners that provide business professionals and consumers with the right tools to better manage and organize their documents and workflow,” said Scott Francis, vice president of marketing, Fujitsu Computer Products of America. “It’s an honor to have ScanSnap recognized by The Sleeter Group as part of its Awesome Add-On Awards. We look forward to continuing to develop products that provide consumers with innovative scanning functionality whether they’re at the office, at home, or on-the-go.”

As the nation’s largest network of small business technology consultants, The Sleeter Group has members throughout the United States, Canada and the Caribbean. The awards will be formally presented to winners on November 7 at the 2011 Accounting Solutions Conference in Las Vegas, an annual event that draws hundreds of accountants, bookkeepers, consultants, and IT professionals, providing them with educational opportunities presented by industry experts, thought leaders and technology developers.

“It’s more important than ever for businesses and professional practices to find technologies and services that help them be more efficient and productive,” said Doug Sleeter, the founder and president of The Sleeter Group. “The Fujitsu ScanSnap product line was selected as one of this year’s Awesome Add-Ons because it’s an innovative, easy-to-use tool that enables consumers and business owners alike to increase their productivity and enhance their efficiency at the touch of a button.”

Technologies receiving the Awesome Add-Ons recognition are vetted by The Sleeter Group’s consultants to ensure that they meet the highest standards of design, ease-of-use, and conformance with appropriate accounting and security standards.
