Fujitsu and Navantis Among Top Finalists for the 2008 Microsoft Partner of the Year Award in Information Worker Solutions, Office Solutions Development

Today, Fujitsu Consulting and Navantis announced their selection as a finalist for the Microsoft Partner of the Year award in Information Worker Solutions, Office Solutions Development.

As long term Microsoft Gold Certified Partners, Fujitsu Consulting and Navantis were chosen as joint finalists for their SAP document archiving solution project for a large utilities client in Canada. Working together, Navantis and Fujitsu Consulting increased the client’s enterprise organizational efficiency and reduced costs by leveraging an existing SAP investment with Microsoft technologies, including Microsoft Office SharePoint Server. As part of the project, over 1 million documents were migrated from an outdated document archiving solution to SharePoint, providing the client with a unified approach for collaboration, document and records management. Overall, the cost-effective solution has allowed SAP business processes and data to be used across the entire organization.
