Improving healthcare through the power of digital

Bradley Bekkum, M.D., internal medicine physician and medical director of MCIS at Marshfield Clinic Health System, along with Edna DeVries, M.D., a pediatrician and Marshfield Clinic district medical director, discuss the importance of keeping colleagues and patients informed with real-time connectivity and progress reporting via Electronic Medical Records (EMRs). Using Fujitsu mobile devices and pen technology to run their enterprise clinical EMR, the staff now have secure access to comprehensive patient records on the go – accessible anywhere and at any time – to deliver enriched and more effective patient care.

Harnessing the Power of the IT team

Welch’s IT organization has found a way to maintain top quality support at a significantly reduced cost, having saved approximately 20% on its managed service costs. These significant cost savings have freed up resources to take on other projects, cover cost increases, and fund ongoing business operations. Additionally, after Welch’s agreement to select Fujitsu as its primary service provider, Fujitsu worked with the Welch’s IT department to improve its speed to market, quality of deliverables and overall testing process.

Transforming Retail with the Power of the Cloud

hallmark-logo Mike Goodwin, CIO of Hallmark, a world leader in the greeting card industry and retail powerhouse shared his story about Hallmark’s journey and the challenges they faced as they sought to deliver significant cost savings, improve efficiency across their network of stores and independent retailers, and be more responsive to evolving business and customer needs. They concluded that in order to achieve these goals they would have to replace their core retail operation, which was running on aging software and traditional retail systems, with a more efficient, cost-effective model that could take them into the future. Hallmark selected Fujitsu – a trusted and longtime partner – to deliver our “retail as a service” solution, providing end-to-end service from in-store transactions to back-end processing.
