Combining several systems not only helps improve precision, it also significantly reduces the TTFF (Time to First Fix) – the more satellites a device can connect with, the faster its exact position can be determined.
Positioning has become a ubiquitous feature in connected devices; accuracy and miniaturization are critical parameters. The new GNSS Module MSB1054 from Fujitsu delivers extremely accurate positioning in a very small form factor, combined with ultra-low power consumption and optimized for short cold start. Additionally, it is equipped with a special algorithm for arm swing compensation, making it an ideal component for smart watches.
