FUJITSU Server PRIMERGY CX scale-out systems are built for cloud computing scenarios, high performance computing, service providers and large server farms. They focus on providing large datacenters with massive scale-out x86 server power while at the same time delivering best economics for server density, energy consumption, heat optimization and lower overall operational costs.
The FUJITSU Server PRIMERGY CX400 M4 is a modular enclosure for the Fujitsu multi-node ecosystem that combines the density and efficiency of blade-like servers with the simplicity and cost benefits of rack-based systems. It helps to provide a scalable IT infrastructure enabling flexible and fast response to rapidly changing IT demands. The system with only 2U holds hot-plug and redundant components, and can be equipped with up to four server nodes featuring the latest generation Intel® Xeon® processors and Intel® Optane DC persistent memory technology to best match particular workloads.
Fujitsu’s Cool-Central Liquid Cooling Technology for PRIMERGY scale-out servers helps to reduce the power needed for cooling, lowers the investment and operating costs for DC climate control, and enables best Power Usage Efficiencies (PUE). Both FUJITSU Server PRIMERGY CX400 nodes are now available in a special liquid cooling version.
The FUJITSU Server PRIMERGY CX2550 M5 is the cost-effective system for the PRIMERGY CX400 M4 multi-node server that keeps pace with your growth and provides the flexibility to adapt to various high-performance and technical computing workloads. This dual-socket server node is equipped with the latest generation of the Intel® Xeon® Processor Scalable Family. In addition to the standard DDR4 memory modules, the new Intel® Optane DC Persistent Memory can also be used in mixed configurations. Unlike traditional DRAM, the new persistent memory provides an unprecedented combination of high-capacity, affordability and persistence. The server node can be used with both standard air cooling and liquid cooling. The PRIMERGY CX400 M4 chassis can be equipped with up to four CX2550 M5 servers.
The FUJITSU Server PRIMERGY CX2560 M5 delivers the latest generation of powerful processors, large memory capacity and scalable I/O capability that meet virtualization, server consolidation or enterprise application needs. Its a flexible, two-socket half-height/width server node for the PRIMERGY CX400 M4 chassis powered by Intel® Xeon® Scalable processors. In addition to the standard DDR4 memory modules, the new Intel® Optane DC Persistent Memory can also be used in mixed configurations. Unlike traditional DRAM, the new persistent memory provides an unprecedented combination of high-capacity, affordability and persistence. The PRIMERGY CX400 M4 chassis can be equipped with up to four CX2560 M5 servers.
The FUJITSU Server PRIMERGY CX2570 M4 is a compact half-width 2U server node that combines powerful processors, and latest DDR4 memory technology as well as high-end computational and graphics performance making it ideal suited for Virtualized Desktop Infrastructures, ambitious High Performance Computing and many computationally intensive datacenter workloads.
The FUJITSU Server PRIMERGY CX2570 M5 delivers the latest processor technology, high speed memory as well as the most advanced GPUs (NVIDIA® Tesla®) built for scale-out workloads such as high performance computing, deep learning and data analytics. This dual-socket server node is equipped with the latest generation of the Intel® Xeon® Processor Scalable Family. It has a total of 16 DIMM slots that can be equipped with enhanced DDR4 memory modules (up to 2.933 MT/s) providing a total capacity of 2TB. In order to solve these most complex HPC and AI challenges the node is available with liquid cooling. The PRIMERGY CX400 M4 chassis can be equipped with up to two CX2570 M5 servers.
