Throughout most of the range, LIFEBOOK models offer seamless connectivity thanks to optional built-in modules for the latest 4G/LTE networks, meaning that users can stay productive on the move.
In addition, the cost-saving versatility of modular bay functionality means that almost all Fujitsu LIFEBOOK notebooks deliver the flexibility required by tight budgets and changing business demands. Users can swap out the optical drive for a second battery or hard disk drive, an innovative bay projector which slots into the optical drive bay, or a blank module to reduce overall weight.
Craig Parker, head of product marketing at Fujitsu UK & Ireland’s Technology Product Group
“Convenience for the customer – that’s what we had in mind when we refreshed our notebook portfolio for 2012. Our main focus points were size, weight and design improvements that help facilitate mobility and productivity for the professional user. Due to the feedback we’ve had in regards to our modular bays, we decided to further emphasize flexibility by extending the options for longer battery runtime, bay projectors, and additional hard disk drive capabilities. Also with the addition of our new Ultrabooks™ and slim LIFEBOOKs we now have our most complete range of notebooks yet”.
The entire LIFEBOOK range is available to order immediately. Pricing and specifications vary according to country. New models expected to be available in the UK via channel partners from July.
