Fujitsu appointed as an Official Sponsor of Rugby World Cup 2015 in England

Fujitsu, a global leader in information and communication technology (ICT) solutions, today announced its agreement with Rugby World Cup Limited (RWCL) to become an official sponsor of Rugby World Cup 2015. This is the first time Fujitsu has sponsored Rugby’s signature event, which will kick off in Twickenham on September 18 and continue through to October 31.

Fujitsu is extremely active in its support for the sporting world, sponsoring both teams and individual athletes. Now, as an official sponsor of Rugby World Cup 2015, the company is building on its lengthy track record to support another of the world’s great team sports. This new sponsorship opportunity also demonstrates the prestige of Rugby World Cup, not only in the UK where the company has operated for nearly 50 years and employs 14,000 people, but also in markets around the world in which Fujitsu maintains a presence.
