Fujitsu Names Regina Moran as CEO of UK & Ireland

Fujitsu UK & Ireland

London, June 29, 2015

Fujitsu today announced Regina Moran has been appointed CEO of UK & Ireland, a position she takes up with immediate effect. The role will see Regina, who brings with her over 20 years' experience in the IT industry, lead Fujitsu's £1.8bn UK & Ireland business.

Regina takes over from Michael Keegan who is moving to help design Fujitsu's product business across the whole of EMEIA. Michael will also take the post of Chairman of the UK & Ireland business, where he will support Regina in her new position and continue to represent Fujitsu in the wider market.

Prior to being named CEO of UK & Ireland, Regina was CEO of Fujitsu Ireland and led the country successfully for six years. A Chartered Electronics Engineer by specialism, she has been a key member of the Fujitsu management team since 2004. Regina was also appointed President of Engineers Ireland in 2014.

Commenting on her appointment, Regina Moran said: “I'm delighted to be taking over the reins in leading Fujitsu's UK & Ireland business. This is a fast-paced, continually evolving technological world with levels of connectivity beyond all comprehension.  At the same time, we are seeing innovations such as the Internet of Things and smart cities being no longer pipe dreams but achievable, near-term goals.

“With the support of our UK & Ireland leadership team we can ensure that, as an organisation, we are able to understand the business challenges our customers face in making these technology innovations a reality and provide the services and solutions that help them do that.”

Regina previously co-founded DMR Consulting Ireland in 1997 which was later acquired by Fujitsu. Following this, she was appointed CEO of Fujitsu Services Ireland in August 2006 and CEO of Fujitsu Ireland in May 2009.

In addition to Fujitsu, Regina is a member of the board of the Irish Business Employers' Confederation (IBEC), and a member of the Dublin City University governing authority. She is also a Fellow of the Institution of Engineers of Ireland (FIEI) and a Non-Executive Director of EirGrid.
