Q&A

1. How long have you been working for FEEU, in which department and what are your main tasks?
I started working in the Import department in the former headquarters location in Buchschlag in July 1991. After 2 years in Import I moved to Planning department because there was a vacancy. It was exactly the right decision, because Planning is the Job which was the most interesting for me in the company. Fujitsu gave me time to integrate and send me to some trainings to learn the job. From the beginning there was a really good working atmosphere in this group and it is well managed until today. Main task is to order parts which we sell to our customers, confirm shipping schedules of orders and keep watching that parts arrive in time. Our main contacts within the company are Inside Sales and Import / Export / Warehouse and of course our vendors which are meanwhile located in many different countries.

2. What made you decide to start working for this company?
At this time I heard from a former colleague that there is a young international team which was moving in a very comfortable and modern building. My first impression during the interview was very good so it was clear that I wanted to work for Fujitsu. Japanese culture was interesting for me because I worked for a Japanese forwarding company before.

3. What makes FEEU a special company in comparison with other employers?
I guess it is the typical Fujitsu way to communicate with customers and colleagues. Having fun, but being serious and professional when we are doing the best for our customers. Getting fresh fruits, water and coffee for free in our kitchen is also a very motivating aspect.

Q&A

1. How long have you been working for FEEU, in which department and what are your main tasks?
I am very new at FEEU. I started in August 2018 as Inside Sales Specialist for the department Inside Sales. My main task is sales order management in SAP for our customers with different business, for example in automotive field. Administration of sales processing and preparing of reports to our customers or to our sales representatives is my daily business. I am responsible for customers in central Europe and Germany.

2. What made you decide to start working for this company?
FEEU is an international company with Japanese Background. Internationality is very important for me and first of all this point was decisive. Furthermore I checked the employee survey in 2016/17 and the results were very positive. Good cooperation between colleagues and familiar feeling at FEEU impressed me. In my opinion these points are important for a successful company. Furthermore FEEU is characterized by flexible working hours, employee benefits and flat hierarchies.

3. What makes FEEU a special company in comparison with other employers?
FEEU is a special employer for me because the ways of communication to other departments are very short. You can resolve problems in an effective time. For example, our SAP support team is located in our headquarters in Langen and this is not usual. Good IT system is very important in my job and this effective working style makes daily life easier and I can work in best way. As I mentioned in question two, FEEU has a familiar feeling in a big company and this makes us also special.

Q&A

1. How long have you been working for FEEU, in which department and what are your main tasks?
I started working for Fujitsu Electronics Europe in October 2016 as Senior Field Sales Engineer. Actually I was hired due to my strong Distribution Business background. I am mainly covering the distribution market in central and east Europe. Also my responsibility is to take of existing direct clients as well as the acquisition of new customers and business fields.

2. What made you decide to start working for this company?
As I already worked since many years for one of the big Broadline-Distributors in the market it was time to take the next step. I knew Fujitsu Electronics Europe was looking for someone covering Europe. Maybe that’s one of the ways it tries to get me. In general I would say, if you earned experiences in the field of distribution it is not very surprising, that you want to see the other side – the manufacturer point of view.

3. What makes FEEU a special company in comparison with other employers?
It is definitely the structure which is not comparable to other companies. On one hand you have short lines of communication and the informal, familiar atmosphere of a medium sized company, as the Fujitsu Electronics subsidiary in Europe employs round about 60 persons. But on the other hand you feel the strong backbone of the globally operating parent group with the ability to use all competencies and resources whenever needed.
