Fujitsu Singapore Appoints ECS Computers (Asia) Pte Ltd as Official Distributor
Fujitsu Asia Pte Ltd.
Singapore, July 24, 2014
Fujitsu Singapore, a leading provider of IT-based business solutions, today announced it has appointed ECS Computers (Asia) Pte Ltd, the wholly-owned Singapore subsidiary of SGX-listed ECS Holdings Limited, a leading regional ICT solutions provider, as an official distributor in Singapore for Fujitsu’s PRIMERGY server line and ETERNUS range of storage systems.
The appointment will enable ECS to meet the needs of customers looking to maximize IT investments, lower IT costs and increase the energy efficiency of their IT infrastructure with Fujitsu’s solutions. Fujitsu Singapore will also expand its reach into specific market segments in Singapore.
“ECS recognizes the emphasis Fujitsu places on product innovation and its focus on customer priorities. With this distributorship, we believe our network of resellers will be better equipped to address the needs of the market as well as maximize the returns on their customers’ IT investments,” said Mr Sebastian Chong, President, ECS Computers (Asia) Pte Ltd.
“Fujitsu Singapore is committed to meeting the needs of customers through its dynamic and diverse ecosystem. We look forward to working closely with ECS and its extensive network of partners and resellers to provide the technical support and resources they require. Our partnership will also enable us to continue providing more customers with the right solution to support their business strategies and meet their IT needs,” said Mr Wong Heng Chew, Country President, Fujitsu Singapore.
Fujitsu’s PRIMERGY server systems provide powerful and flexible data center solutions suited for companies of any size, from any industry and for any type of workload. Unlike the traditional differentiation of storage architectures, Fujitsu’s ETERNUS storage solutions offer a uniform system management to provide greater flexibility. Coupled together, companies will benefit from lesser costs of growth and reduced operational effort as they enjoy better flexibility in deploying solutions based on their usage requirements. Just as environmental sustainability continues to be a focus in Fujitsu’s business, these green products offer higher energy-efficiency so companies can save more in the long run.
Fujitsu is the leading Japanese information and communication technology (ICT) company offering a full range of technology products, solutions and services.
