Fujitsu to Manage REC Solar ASA’s Regional IT Infrastructure Operations from Singapore Hub

Fujitsu Singapore, a leading provider of IT-based business solutions, today announced that it has been appointed by REC Solar ASA (REC), a leading global solar energy solutions provider headquartered in Singapore, as part of a 5-year, multi-million dollar agreement (SGD). Fujitsu will manage REC’s IT infrastructure operations at REC’s data centre in Singapore, which supports offices in Singapore, India, Japan, Norway, USA and Germany.

With operating headquarters in Singapore, where it has built the world’s largest fully integrated solar manufacturing facility, REC continues to focus on expanding its product offering and market presence in key markets. To enhance business-IT alignment, improve IT resource utilization and IT management as business continued to grow, the company was looking for an IT solutions provider to manage its data centre operations.
