Fujitsu, a leading provider of ICT-based business solutions today announced the launch of the fi-65F, the smallest A6 flatbed scanner from the fi-Series line of business grade scanners(1).
Fujitsu has sold more than 200,000 units of A6 flatbed scanner which are targeted to ease workflow processes from administrative, logistics, managerial to customer service and more. The new model facilitates front line tasks such as customer verification, applications and clearances with its capability of fast scanning to identification cards or passports. The fi-65F offers quick startup, lightning speed scanning and brilliant image quality while maintaining its legacy of being the most compact business grade scanner among the fi Series models. Not only can it be powered by USB, it is also enhanced with a one-touch scan button for easy user operation. The fi-65F comes bundled with a full line up of software including the updated driver of the latest image processing technology which is originally equipped in high end models only.
The fi-65F is designed to improve user-operation, work efficiency and productivity of document digitizing across all industries.

Equipped with the added scan button and the latest image capturing software, users can now scan and save image data simply in one touch of a button. This added on feature brings ultimate operational efficiency to the scanning solution.
- Powered by USB
The smallest scanner in its class, the fi-65F can be powered through the USB port of a computer therefore allowing it to be used easily at any place even where the AC power supply is unavailable. This scanner gives one the freedom to scan onsite at event venues where power supply can be limited.
- High speed scanning (A6 sized document in one second (B&W, 300dpi)
The fi-65F is able to scan a black and white A6 sized document at 300dpi in one second (when using AC adaptor connection; 2 seconds when operating in USB bus power cable connection). Furthermore, users can start scanning at a lightning speed of 0.5 seconds after pressing the scan button (4.5 seconds from power saving mode), this quick start up means less waiting time with high-quality results.
- Bundled with the latest standard fi Series software for superb image processing and operability
- The new TWAIN/ISIS driver “PaperStream IP” - produce high quality image processing With the advanced black and white process, documents can be easily converted into exceptionally clear image data suitable for OCR (Optical Character Recognition). High quality image data can be created automatically without user pre-set.
- The new image capturing software “PaperStream Capture” - enhance batch scanning Be it adjusting the scanning settings or performing batch scanning, users can now complete the tasks effortlessly with the user-friendly UI. With the seamless linkage using “PaperStream IP”, high quality image processing and batch scanning can be performed concurrently.
