Fujitsu Asia Pte Ltd.

Singapore, June 15, 2004

Fujitsu Asia Pte Ltd announced today that the company has been awarded by SingTel to provide i-PhoneNet, an advanced IP Centrex service that will be delivered over SingTel's reliable network infrastructure. Fujitsu Asia is the system integrator for this project providing network design, installations, training, support and a complete solution for SingTel.

i-PhoneNet is an IP Centrex solution that allows SingTel to offer a suite of advanced IP applications such as remote office, web-based call management capabilities, simultaneous ring service, and voice portal. i-PhoneNet offers a total outsourced solution for large enterprises and SMEs who are looking to upgrade their telephone systems.

"The solution is an excellent fit for SingTel's customers who need both basic and advanced services. The hosted model allows SingTel's customers to minimise the capital expenditure spent for their corporate telephony needs. Fujitsu Asia has been very active in the IP technology market and is pleased about the delivery of the advance solution to SingTel together with our key partner, Broadsoft." said Mr Chng Teo Hye, co-CEO, Fujitsu Asia Pte Ltd.

"i-PhoneNet is part of SingTel's plan to expand its suite of IP services to meet the diverse communications needs of our customers," said Ms Lian Bee Leng, SingTel's Vice President of Corporate Products. "We expect the IP Centrex market to grow significantly over the next few years. i-PhoneNet is a powerful, modular platform that allows SingTel to deploy new intra-office communications as our customers' needs evolve. For example, when 3G is available, i-PhoneNet can be enhanced to support remote access by 3G mobile phone users."

"Fujitsu's IP Centrex offers businesses lower total cost of ownership, reduced administration overheads and innovative new services that take advantages of the latest IP technology such as outlook integration, phonebooks, web dialing, remote office, multi-location extension dialing, and so on. The solution not only supports advance IP phones but also allows user to retain their existing analogue phones and enjoy i-PhoneNet services. We understand every company has different needs for terminals and allowing progressive migrations from their existing telephone lines is important." added Mr. Chng. "To take advantage of mobility that IP technology provides, customers will potentially be able to use softphones on notebooks and PDAs in the near future."

The IP Centrex solution is based on BroadWorks®, BroadSoft's market-leading hosted voice communications platform.
