  • Fujitsu Asia Launches fi-5650C Performance Oriented Document Scanner Singapore, Singapore,Malaysia,Indonesia,India,Philippines, September 22, 2004 - The fi-5650C is Fujitsu’s first-ever Automatic Document Feeder (ADF) scanner in this product segment, with a 200-sheet ADF capacity. It captures both sides of a document in a single pass using dual charged coupled device (CCD) arrays. In A4 Portrait mode, it scans colour or monochrome pages at a resolution of 300 dots per inch (dpi), at a speed of 55 pages per minute (ppm) and 110 images per minute (ipm) for single- and double-sided documents respectively. The device comes with universal serial bus (USB) 2.0 – backward compatible with USB 1.1 – as well as Ultra Small Computer System Interface (Ultra SCSI) connections, providing a speedy link to a PC. Its daily scanning cycle is up to 8000 pages per day.
