Breaking the one million operations per second barrier for the first time, Fujitsu achieved performance of 1,420,177 operations per second with a 112-way PRIMEPOWER 2500 system using the company's 1.3GHz SPARC64® V processors, shattering records previously set by HP, Sun and IBM in the same performance tests.
