Fujitsu Asia Expands its Imaging Solutions with New Duplex Scanners

Fujitsu Asia Pte Ltd, a market leader in document imaging solutions announces its latest additions to its award-winning line of "fi" scanners. Introducing the new state-of-the-art duplex color scanners, fi-4120C and fi-4220C.
Adding on to the legacy of its enterprise-level document imaging scanner market leader and its extensive line of color scanning solutions, these new workgroup scanners promises the utmost performance in a sleek and compact size, making it an ideal choice for decentralized applications and businesses.
The new fi-4120C and fi-4220C offer high-speed, duplex with color scanning capabilities. Featuring exceptional high-capacity paper handling, high productivity, and selectable RGB color dropout, which makes form processing a breeze. Its high definition CCD (charge-coupled device) image sensors scan both sides of a document at once. In addition, its double feed detection capability enable the detection of the erroneous feeding of two or more originals. These scanners are also equipped with TWAIN driver and standard on-board JPEG hardware compression.
With true 600dpi optical resolution, the new fi-4120C and fi-4220C offer duplex and color scanning capabilities at speeds up to 25ppm (pages per minute)/25ipm (image per minute) at 200dpi monochrome and grayscale, and 25ppm/25ipm at 150dpi full color, and dual interface (SCSI and USB). fi-4220C scans from a flatbed at about 2.2 seconds at 200dpi monochrome, and 2.1 seconds at 150dpi full color. Both models come bundled with Adobe Acrobat 5.0, allowing the scanners to convert any document to an Adobe PDF file.
The new fi-4120C and fi-4220C is available now through Fujitsu authorised distributors, DICOM (Singapore) Pte Ltd and Pericom Imaging (Singapore) Pte Ltd at US$995 and US$1,795 list price respectively.
