Portugal No end in sight for over decade-long Patja partnership between Helvar and Fujitsu

August 26, 2009

Luminaire component supplier Helvar has renewed its Patja service agreement with Fujitsu Services Oy. Helvar's Patja service manages all in all some 250 workstations.

The new agreement expands the Patja service to cover not only Finland but all the other seven Helvar countries of operation, too. Its offices in England have already joined the service and the rest of them will do so during the autumn of 2009. The servers and service desk are located in Finland.

"We have a well-designed concept and a single end-to-end supplier. Thanks to our long-standing collaboration we know each other well and our cooperation runs smoothly," says director Markku Laine of Helvar.

Fujitsu has been Helvar's IT infrastructure partner for quite some time. The company, who has its head offices in Karkkila, Finland, was the very first Patja customer for Fujitsu more than ten years ago.

In addition to IT infrastructure Fujitsu manages Helvar's SAP system as a service. Besides sales and order processing, the company's SAP system includes the modules of production control, purchase and subcontracting, warehouse, maintenance services, finance and reporting.
