Regional Support Center Manager

Qualifications:

  • Must have a good technical understanding of infrastructure.
  • Must have at least 3 years customer service experience.
  • Must have a basic risk assessment and management capability.

All candidates for the above positions must have the ff: additional qualifications:

  • excellent oral and written English communication skills.
  • customer focused.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership to a team supporting technologies such as: Client Computing, IT Operations, Telecomm, Windows Server, UNIX/LINUX, Data Management, Internet Services, IT Security, Collaboration/Lotus Notes, and Documentum.
  • Oversee successful completion of the following tasks for infrastructure platforms complying with client’s policies and procedures.

    1. Compliance with SLA metrics (eg. Issues tracking, Escalation, TTs/CRs updates/closures.
    2. Backup and restore operations (e.g. changing backup tapes, tape management, restore files, using onsite level 2 as smart hands to follow instructions.
    3. Disaster Recovery Plan exercise for all infrastructure service areas.
  • Oversee the following tasks using existing client tools: Network and server monitoring using HP OpenView, HPinsight manager and other client’s tools; react to notification from the tools and performs diagnosis of the problem escalating to onsite for physical work or OEM if required; and provide routine and proactive platform analysis (eg, traffic analysis, server capacity management, etc) using existing client’s tools.
  • Ensure tasks related infrastructure platforms, these are devices other than desktop devices e.g. switches, routers, servers are completed as required.
    These tasks includes but not limited to:

    • Change Control
    • IT Asset Management
