Regional Support Center Manager

Job Description:

  • Provide leadership to a team supporting technologies such as: Client Computing, IT Operations, Windows Server, UNIX/LINUX, Data Management, Internet Services, IT Security, Collaboration/Lotus Notes, and Documentum.
  • Oversee successful completion of the following tasks for infrastructure platforms complying with client’s policies and procedures.
  • a. Compliance with SLA metrics (eg. Issues tracking, Escalation, TTs/CRs updates/closures
  • b. Backup and restore operations (e.g. changing backup tapes, tape management, restore files, using onsite level 2 as smart hands to follow instructions
  • c. Disaster Recovery Plan exercise for all infrastructure service areas
  • Oversee the following tasks using existing client tools: Network and server monitoring and other client’s tools; react to notification from the tools and performs diagnosis of the problem escalating to onsite for physical work or OEM if required; and provide routine and proactive platform analysis (eg, traffic analysis, server capacity management, etc) using existing client’s tools. Ensure tasks related infrastructure platforms, these are devices other than desktop devices e.g. switches, routers, servers are completed as required. These tasks includes but not limited to:
  • a. Change Control
  • b. IT Asset Management

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge/ Experience Required Must have a good technical understanding on infrastructure.
  • Must have at least 15 years customer service and management experience Must have a basic risk assessment and management capability.

All candidates must have the following additional qualifications:

  • Excellent oral and written English communication skills.
  • Strong multi-national, multi-cultural experience and orientation.
  • Customer focused
