Settings

Users can record their own company details that will appear on reports and manifests produced by the system.

The system allows parameters to be defined to suit each company's operation.

Consignment Entry

The ExpressMaster consignment entry screen is designed for rapid entry of information by the use of quick lookup options to identify the correct pay party, carrier, service and delivery location. On entry of the consignment the system prints an address and tracking label or consignment automatically. The screen supports the use of barcode scanners for rapid entry of order details with consignment weights confirmed via the optional weigh scale interface.

Manifesting

When the consignments are entered, the system automatically collates all consignments for each carrier onto a single manifest. The manifest can be printed to check details and a copy given to your driver as a manifest for POD collection or signed by an external carrier as proof of transfer. ExpressMaster supports the transmission of an electronic copy of the manifest to an external carrier to support EDI data transfer with automatic invoicing.

Reporting

ExpressMaster includes a full suite of operational reports for all consignment activity.

The consignment details report allows easy selection of client range, date range, service and consignment status. Full job details can be viewed or simply a summary of totals by pay party or service. The freight analysis report provides a summary of freight volumes by pay party and destination area.

Using the SQL database, customised reports are easily produced and data can be accessed directly via spreadsheets or word processing.

Interfaces

ExpressMaster supports an optional order entry interface that allows customers with their own order entry system to automatically create new consignments when the order is picked. As each customer's order entry system may be different, these interfaces are customised by Fujitsu to suit each of our customers' systems.

ExpressMaster also supports an electronic interface with weigh scales to improve the collection of shipment weight details.
