Fujitsu Opens Entries to Global SELECT Innovation Awards for Channel Partners

Luxembourg, June 27, 2016 Fujitsu invites entries for its Global SELECT Innovation AwardsOpen a new window for the second consecutive year, acknowledging the value of its channel partners. The company’s more than 16,000 SELECT PartnersOpen a new window worldwide are eligible to enter, with a bounty of USD 10,000 in joint marketing and sales development programs and a trip to Fujitsu Forum TokyoOpen a new window in 2017 up for grabs by the overall winner.

Fujitsu channel partners have until September 30, 2016 to submit nominationsOpen a new window for the Global SELECT Innovation Awards. The winner and two finalists will be selected by a panel of judges drawn from across Fujitsu. Key criteria for award winners are to demonstrate the impact in creating a Human Centric Intelligent Society, and show how their offerings are closely aligned with the Fujitsu Technology and Service Vision – with a focus on the portfolio areas of integration, mobility, big data, security, cloud, integrated computing, and software-defined connected infrastructure solutions and the Channel Partner level in the SELECT Partner Program, as well as the areas of SELECT expertise.

Last year, Global SELECT Innovation Award winners were celebrated at Fujitsu Forum in Munich. The overall winner was Italian firm Gruppomega, a leader in the design and construction of turnkey technological systems for industrial, commercial and public buildings in Italy. Gruppomega was awarded first prize by Fujitsu for its support of the Mediterranean University of Reggio Calabria’s Saf@medOpen a new window project to analyze food production and sustainable use of resources for the region. Last year’s runners up were CSW of GermanyOpen a new window, for a High Performance Computing (HPC) project to improve research and development for TLT-Turbo, the world’s leading manufacturer of technology driven industrial fans and ventilation systems, and Kernel IT of GreeceOpen a new window for its Self Service Cloud App, a virtualized solution based on Fujitsu infrastructure to help digitalize municipal government services in Heraklion, the principal city of Crete.

Eligibility and deadlines
1. All Fujitsu channel partners, that are members of the SELECT Partner Program – SELECT Registered or SELECT Expert – are eligible to submit a nomination for the Global SELECT Innovation Award
2. The nomination deadline is September 30, 2016 at 12:00 CET (Central European Time)

Partners who make a greater commitment to working with Fujitsu can achieve official recognition as a Fujitsu accredited SELECT Expert partner. This level provides full access to Fujitsu’s comprehensive portfolio of solutions, enabling partners to become a truly trusted advisor to their customers.
