We, Fujitsu Frontech Group, who run business globally, implement broad social activities as a part of CSR inside and outside Japan, being usually aware of the aspects such as SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) and ESG.
Activities as "Corporate Citizenship"
We, one by one, promote social activities as "Corporate Citizenship" at each site and Group company inside and outside Japan, with recognition that harmonizing with the environment and society and contributing to the sustainable development of them are ones of our important missions.
Specifically, we expand our social activities divided into 3 large aspects which consist of "Contribution to local community", "Cooperation with stakeholders", and "Development of human resources".
Contribution to Local Community
We, at each site and Group company, perform a variety of social contributions, in purpose of growing together with local communities where we run business.
For example, at Niigata Plant which is our production site inside Japan, not only we sponsor the Japanese summer festival in local community (Tsubame-shi), but many employees participate in it, to contribute to revitalizing the region. In addition, in response to the request from "Tsubame-shi Volunteer and Citizen Activity Center", we take part in the activities as a corporate member of its steering committee, so as to help revitalize city volunteer in the region.
As one of our main actions on the environmental protection, Fujitsu Die-Tech Corporation of The Philippines (FDTP: Philippines) expands tree planting such as mangroves in a local nature, aggressively. FDTP obtains good reputations from the local community in terms of "contribution to biodiversity protection", including the fact that FDTP has ever won "Environmental Award" hosted by Philippines Economic Zone Authority (PEZA), twice in 2010 and 2016.
Furthermore, individuals in our Group are also active as "Corporate Citizenship" independently. For example, they participate in "Tree Planting in Desert of China" and "Tree Planting for Disaster Prevention of Coast in Minamisoma-shi, Fukushima Prefecture", both of which Federation of ALL Fujitsu Worker's Unions co-hosts with local volunteer groups.

Cooperation with Stakeholders
We, at each site and Group company, contribute to sustainable development of society, through sponsoring and participating in various events in cooperation with each stakeholder including local governments (municipalities, fire departments, etc.), support agencies (chambers of commerce, councils of social welfare, etc.), and NPO / NGO.
For instance, Fujitsu Frontech North America Inc. (FFNA: U.S.A.) takes part in the Business Expo hosted by the local chamber of commerce (Lake Forest in Orange County, California), to exhibit products and service of FFNA and to communicate with other local businesses. Incidentally, FFNA won "Trustworthy Technology Award" by the chamber, which praises excellent businesses "delivering trustworthy products and service", in July 2019.
And also, we implement donation, cooperating with organizations like NPO in the whole Group company. Especially, the event called "BOOK MAGIC" that goods like used books are donated, performs well, because all the employees are easy to take part in.

Development of Human Resources
We make efforts to develop and to support next generations at each site and Group company, in order to help create a better future.
For example, we, at our main sites inside Japan (Headquarters / Tokyo Plant, Niigata Plant and Kumagaya Service Solution Center), provide practical training for invited students of local junior high schools, high schools, and universities, to let them be aware of the deepness of manufacturing, the meaning and the pleasure of working as a member of society, because we go along with "working place experience" and "internship" schemes which are programed by local governments and educational institutions. Moreover, in Niigata Plant, our proficient engineers qualified with official instructors by Niigata Prefecture, give their technical instruction to young people in the regional schools and workshops.
On the other hand, at FDTP of our Group company outside Japan, the employees travel to local schools, and provide the students with the education about the environmental issues, to let them know the importance to cherish the Mother Earth.
