Fujitsu Interconnect Technologies Limited (hereinafter referred to as FICT) recognizes the importance of the personal data by which you can be identified, such as your name, address, or e-mail address (Personal Data). In general, you can visit (our Website) without revealing any Personal Data. We track the Internet address of people who visit our Website and analyze this data for trends and statistics, but the tracked data does not include your Personal Data. If you do not provide the information we request, you can still visit most of our Website but you may be unable to access certain options, offers and services.

On our Website we use cookies and web beacons to offer our customers a better service. This functionality is similar to a sales assistant at a department store where customers shop. The sales assistant does not know the customers’ name or address, but gets to know the customers face and likes/dislikes well, aiming to offer a better service. Computers are not able to distinguish a customer’s face, so instead an identification tag known as a cookie is sent to the customer’s browser. When the customer returns to that website, the cookie is accessed and it knows it is a customer, so a service better suited to that customer is offered. Based on the customer browsing history gained from cookies on our Website, we are also able to display Fujitsu ads on the websites of other companies we have links with.

The cookies cannot identify any particular individual, and customers remain anonymous as long as they do not enter personal information on our Website. Customers can also set their browsers to disallow receipt of cookies. Web beacons are used to create statistical data by counting the number of page visits, and do not have functionality to identify specific individuals.

*Google Analytics

A number of the pages on our Website use Google Analytics, a Google service for understanding customer visits to our Website. Using Google Analytics on our Website allows Google to collect, record and analyse the visit history on our Website, based on the cookies issued. FICT receives the results of this analysis from Google and gets a picture of the visits made by customers to our Website. No information identifying any specific individual is included in the customer information collected, recorded and analysed by Google Analytics. This information is also managed based on the privacy policy of Google.

Customers can stop the collection of customer information done by FICT using Google Analytics by disabling Google Analytics in their browser’s Add-on settings. You can opt out of Google Analytics by performing changes to your browser’s add-on settings by downloading and installing the Google Analytics opt-out add-on found on Google’s Opt-out page. If customers opt out of Google Analytics this will also disable Google Analytics for other websites, but this can be enabled again by resetting the add-on in the browser.

For an explanation of Google Analytics rules of usage, please see Google’s privacy policy and the Google Analytics site.
