Andy Stevenson is based out of Bangalore and previously served as the Chief Executive Officer of Fujitsu Telecommunications Europe Ltd (FTEL) and Executive Director, for Hosting, Networks and Security in Fujitsu UK & Ireland. He has been with Fujitsu for over twenty years and has played a leading role in guiding Fujitsu to its position as a key telecommunications products & technology provider and leader in UK & Ireland IT services. He grew up in Zambia and Qatar and also spent his early career with Alcatel in Paris and Stuttgart.

Gernot Fels

Gernot Fels
Head of Integrated Systems, Global Product Marketing, Fujitsu

 

Gernot Fels is in charge of Integrated Systems in Fujitsu’s Global Product Marketing and based in Germany. Prior to this he worked in various functions of training and education, consulting, sales, business development and marketing within the Siemens group, Siemens Nixdorf Computers, Fujitsu Siemens Computers and Fujitsu.

He is looking back to a professional experience of over 30 years in the ICT industry. Gernot holds a degree in computer science from the University of Karlsruhe (Germany).

Ms. Karuna Gopal
President, Foundation for Futuristic Cities

Ms. Karuna Gopal, is an Internationally acclaimed Thought Leader, Columnist, Keynote Speaker and Advisor on SMART CITIES. She is the Founder President of Foundation for Futuristic Cities, a Think Tank that has influenced Urban Transformation in India for over a decade.

Ms Gopal contributed to the design of SMART CITIES MISSION of Government of India and has been an invited speaker at the launch of the mission by the Prime Minister. At the event, her innovation “CITIZENS for CITY – 2009” a disruptive tool to engage citizens in governance, has been recognized as a National Best Practice and her publication “SCULPT your CITY” has been reprinted and distributed to all the delegates at Vigyan Bhawan , New Delhi .

Ms Gopal serves as a International Juror (ICF, New York) selecting the smartest city / community of the world. In the past, she served on the Chief Minister's Advisory Council of Andhra Pradesh (erstwhile united Andhra Pradesh) and was instrumental in forging a Sister State Partnership between Washington State, USA and Andhra Pradesh, India.. She was city representative, India for Council on Tall Buildings & Urban Habitat (CTBUH, Illinois, USA) and currently is a Council Member of GLG (Gerson Lehrman Group) New York, USA.

In 2011, she was invited to participate in IVLP - a flagship program of US Government for Foreign Leaders. As a part of the program Ms Gopal contributed to roundtables with key officials of US Federal Departments and leaders from Sweden, UK, Finland, China, Singapore etc...

She is an invited author for International Publications like FuturARC and has been Interviewed widely both by National and International Media. Her articles have been incorporated into Parliamentary Documentation of Lok Sabha for their policy relevance. She chairs and addresses conferences around the world and is a special invitee to meetings of FII (Foreign Institutional Investors) exploring investments into India. She teaches senior IAS officers at India’s Premier Academy at (LBSNAA), Mussoorie.

Ms Gopal hails from a family of freedom fighters and IAS officers. She has been inducted into BJP (Bharatiya Janata Party) by Shri Venkaiah Naidu Union Minister of Urban Development in March 2014.

Under his leadership as the CEO and Managing Director, INTELLISYS Technologies & Research Ltd has achieved a number of path breaking milestones. Pradeepto Dey comes with a rich domain expertise of 17+ years running partnerships & alliances. Pradeepto has very recently joined Vmware as the Director for Strategic Alliances, heading the entire Alliances Partners portfolio comprising of OEM, SI, Application Providers, Cloud & Technology Partners.

Prior to this Pradeepto was a part of the India Leadership team at Redhat with a charter of leading the Commercial revenue & Channel business for Indian subcontinent. Pradeepto had the opportunity of building the entire Commercial business from scratch to a robust partner led sales engine. In addition, building & managing the entire channel governance motion across all partners & alliances, including OEMs, Cloud Service Providers, ISVs, GSIs, Distribution & Solution Providers for Red Hat in India & SAARC. During his tenure the commercial business revenue has witnessed unprecedented growth. Pradeepto is credited with the successful in formulation & launch of various channel programs to maintain route balance & integrity.

Right from the onset of his professional career, Pradeepto has been involved in partner facing, account management & alliances roles. His career graph has spanned through various channels, alliances & large account management roles at Intel and Microsoft.

Srikanth Gopalakrishnan

Srikanth has over 23 years of experience in the software industry and currently is the VP for Product Management in the IoT Line of Business. He has been with SAP for over 4 years. Prior to joining SAP he has worked in several organizations like Oracle, Keane, Hexaware Technologies and TCS amongst others. He has varied experience in both product and consulting organizations. He has a Bachelors’ degree from Regional Engineering College, Trichy as well as a Masters from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale. He also has completed an Executive Management Program from IIM, Bangalore. He has also managed a global portfolio of products encompassing both On Premise and Cloud SAP Applications. He is also part of the Board of Directors for SAP Labs India and drives the Innovation Charter for India.

 

Vasanth Kumar

VP SAP Co-Innovation Lab, South Asia, ANZ and MENA

An ardent practitioner of co-innovation with the ecosystem of partners. He was Instrumental in setting up the SAP Co-Innovation Labs (COIL) in India, as a Greenfield Lab in 2009. Since inception, the Co-Innovation Lab in India, with his mentoring, has facilitated a wide spectrum of partners to co-innovate with SAP and bring out innovative solutions leveraging, mobile, analytics, Big data, IoT and cloud technologies. With his fervent support, majority of the partners have built new capabilities as a result of co-innovation and have built products and offerings which are yielding a new revenue stream for them. These projects have resulted in influencing revenue for SAP, helping adoption of new technologies, reaching new customer and market segments with the co-innovation solutions.

Vasanth has more than 2 decades experience, associated first with the Manufacturing industry in various capacities and with ‘SAP’ in various functions and roles in Consulting, Development, Cloud on-demand delivery and now heads the Co-Innovation in the south Asia region. Vasanth writes business articles periodically, supports PhD scholars from IIM’s with their thesis.

David Papiah
CEO, Fujitsu Systems Europe

David Papiah is CEO -Fujitsu Systems Europe- European HPC Center of Excellence, based in Toulouse -France. He is responsible for growing Fujitsu portfolio of software solutions dedicated to HPC which is a key success factor key in an ecosystem which is in complete mutation and where customers are requesting simplicity in terms of HPC systems usage and on boarded expertise.

Previously, as Director of Business Operations, France and Europe, David was responsible for growing Fujitsu IT strategic outsourcing business. In that role, he led the business development both from an offering perspective but also from a revenue growth perspective by implementing breakthrough service delivery models and innovative financial models. During his tenure, Fujitsu double digit growth both on revenue and profit.

Prior to Fujitsu, David held Senior Management positon at IBM during 8 years in the field of business development and finance in Europe.

David holds a MBA from the European Business School in London, England. He has also attended institutions like INSEAD and London Business School for professional education.

Hermann Brummer is part of global product marketing team for storage solutions at Fujitsu.

After his education as engineer in communication technologies he held several positions in engineering, field service, infrastructure consulting and sales, spanning technologies from mobile communications to mainframes.

Since 2000 Hermann is addicted to the storage business within Fujitsu Technology Solutions and its predecessors. Starting with supplier and technology partner management his current main responsibility is in the product marketing of Fujitsu ETERNUS DX Storage Systems.

Prof. Mansour Almazroui is currently the Director of the Center of Excellence for Climate Change Research (CECCR) and head of the Department of Meteorology at the Faculty of Meteorology, Environment and Arid Land Agriculture, King Abdulaziz University (KAU), Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Prof. Almazroui is also the associate fellow in the Climatic Research Unit (CRU), University of East Anglia, Norwich, England. He obtained his Bsc in 1991 and Master Degree in 1998 from the Department of Meteorology, Faculty of Meteorology, Environment and Arid Land Agriculture, (KAU). He completed his PhD in CRU in 2006. Prof. Almazroui has number of publications in the field of Meteorology and Climate Change, and participated in number of national and international workshops and conferences. Beside research and lecturing, he is a member in several committees in KAU, such as acquiring “Aziz” supercomputer and life sciences committees. Prof. Almazroui is KAU representative to the Presidency of Meteorology and Environment, and Civil Defense in issues related to emergency and disaster management. Prof. Almazroui is also a consultant to KAU Vice-President for Graduate Studies and Scientific.

Mehul Doshi, an Industry veteran with over 21 years of IT experience. He heads the overall Products & Solution Business for Fujitsu India in his current role and is based out of Mumbai. He has been with Fujitsu for seven years, since its inception days in India.

Mehul holds a First Class First Engineering Degree from Mumbai University back in 90’s and have worked in past with organization like Hitachi Data Systems, Sun Mircrosystems and other top IT companies. Most of the years, he has worked on Datacenter Solution & UNIX based platform. Paul Warburton
Fujitsu, Global Client Executive and Vice President of Automotive

Paul Warburton is the Global Account Director for one of the largest automotive organizations in the world and Global Head of the Automotive sector at Fujitsu with the responsibility of leading both global account teams and the service-led strategy for the $50B global IT organization. Under his leadership, Fujitsu has become a global trusted partner within the automotive sector. In this role, he is required to co-locate in the UK and the US in addition to traveling the globe as a truly collaborative approach to developing the business and establishing relationships. This breath of experience coupled with the responsibility for leading a global team has given him a unique perspective on the emerging needs of technology in the different cultures, geographies and regions around the world.

Prior to this appointment, Paul was responsible for developing operations for Fujitsu’s Application Delivery centre across 14 countries in Continental Europe where he successfully delivered a unified delivery organization in under a four-month timeframe.

Paul joined Fujitsu directly from Technical College as a Mobile Computer Engineer initially supporting a range of customer organizations in diverse industries. His 24 year career path with Fujitsu has evolved from these early technical roots through customer support on UNIX platforms progressing to multiple leadership roles in different areas of the business. This includes a mixture of client facing roles including a number of ITIL based Service Director roles and Operations Director for Fujitsu’s UK Sales Manufacturing Business Unit.

Paul is the leader of Fujitsu’s Global Automotive Business Community, actively participates in Fujitsu’s Future Leaders Training and is a five-year Advisory Board Member of the Michigan Women in Technology (MCWT) Organization.

As a leader in the Global Automotive eco-system, Paul continues to finds ways to close the gap between customer, partners and competitors in order to bring the human centric approach to IT to life. In an age where users demands for information is instantaneous, organizations need to operate collaboratively and move beyond the traditional transactional levels of engagement. The emergence of in car technology has blurred the lines of definition between the auto manufacturers and their technology partners. Pierre

Dr. Pierre Lagier

 

Pierre started to punch holes in cards in 1975, and got a PhD in Distributed Computing in 1985, followed by a first job at the Software Engineering Institute in Paris. He joined the French National Space Agency (CNES) in 1987 to work on the design of Satellite Control Centre. In 1989 he became HPC Analyst at Alliant Computer in Boston, working on very first generation of true vector-parallel systems. He finally joined Fujitsu in early 1992, initially working at Fujitsu premises in Numazu and Shizuoka in Japan, designing and implementing message passing paradigms and related performance analysis tools for the VPP series. He came back to Fujitsu Toulouse office in south of France, where as Chief Technology Officer he still devotes days (and sometimes nights) to Fujitsu High Performance Computing platforms and solutions.

Rainer Hettinger

Principal Business Developer SAP Fujitsu Global Delivery - SAP Solutions Team

Rainer Hettinger has more than 25 years of experience in IT architecture, SAP Data Center Solutions and Services and is member of the Fujitsu Global Delivery team focused on SAP solutions and services. Together with approx. 40 Fujitsu SAP experts he is based in the Global Fujitsu SAP Competence Center in Walldorf /Germany, just across the street to SAP HQ. He accompanied the evaluation of SAP application virtualization into solutions ready for a SAP Cloud as well as the latest developments and innovations regarding SAP In-memory technology, SAP HANA and the Internet of Things.

In his actual role he supports for many years the Fujitsu country organizations in the Middle East, India, South Africa and Asia in their SAP customer and partner projects. Additionally he acts to collect feedback from customers and partners in this markets and share this experience with central Fujitsu SAP teams.

Rainer holds a master degree in Business Administration from the University of Mannheim/ Germany.

Working across Fujitsu and its partners in Indian sub-continent, Sanjay Srivastava is responsible for developing Fujitsu's IAM & MSS solutions business. Sanjay joined Fujitsu in 1993 and worked across solutions covering Telecommunications, Retail Solutions and several OEM solutions including the present PalmSecure technology.
