More storage capacity for PRIMERGY Blade Server enclosures Storage drives of the PRIMERGY SX980 S2 can be assigned via SAS connection blade to specific Server blades within the PRIMERGY Blade Server enclosure. By combining it with Microsoft Storage Spaces feature, the SX980 S2 offers shared storage functionality.	Increased flexibility and full virtualization support without the need for an external SAN infrastructure.
Easy storage expansion PRIMERGY SX980 S2 supports up to 10 hot-plug SAS 2.0 disk drives in a half-height and double-wide form factor.	With the currently available drives, the internal storage capacity may be extended to up to 20 TB (2x SX980 S2) in PRIMERGY BX400 S1 systems, and to up to 60 TB (6x SX980 S2) in the PRIMERGY BX900 S2 chassis.
