Global Leaders for Innovation and Knowledge
The Fujitsu Scholarship supports your development as a global leader by funding your participation in the Global Leaders for Innovation and Knowledge program delivered by Fujitsu-JAIMS Foundation.
Private businesses, as well as governments and educational institutions, are exposed to drastic environmental changes like never before due to advancements in ICT and globalization. For organizations to survive and pursue sustainable nurturement, they must not only keep up with the changes, but also create value that can only be created by each organization.
Providing new value for society - this is what Fujitsu-JAIMS Foundation calls innovation. Innovation cannot be pursued alone. It is only born when people integrate their knowledge.By integrating knowledge, innovation leaders provide new value for society.
- The program is based on the vision of Dr. Ikujiro Nonaka, professor of Emeritus, Hitotsubashi University, who is the global authority in knowledge creation theory.-
As originator of the Knowledge Creation Theory, Dr. Ikujiro Nonaka is recognized globally as the guru of management. His research is centered on knowledge creation and management to foster sustainable and innovative organization and wise leaders in multiple levels of organizations; private firms, public organizations, communities, and nations. He co-authored The Knowledge-Creating Company with Hirotaka Takeuchi.
Global Leaders for Innovation and Knowledge enhances the capability to thoroughly pursue what they can do for the society as a leader, and the knowledge, human network and human power required for making an innovation happen.
