ATLAS is compatible with the following features of Internet Explorer 7 (Windows XP SP2). A list of troubleshooting items has been compiled below.
1. Translating with the "ATLAS Translation" button in the Menu Bar and the right click menu
Problem
The "ATLAS Translation" button in the Menu Bar and the right click menu is unresponsive.

ATLAS V8, V9, V10, V11, V12, V13
Troubleshooting
None.
2. Internet Explorer 7 tabbed browsing
Problem
The homepage translation tool does not work properly when used in conjunction with tabbed browsing. An error occurs when translating or closing the browser while multiple tabs are opened, or the functions in the add-on toolbar (ATLAS toolbar or ATLAS translation toolbar) do not work properly.

Troubleshooting
Uncheck "Enable Tabbed Browsing" in the Tabs settings in Internet Options.
3. Opening Internet Explorer 7 immediately after installing ATLAS
Problem
Internet Explorer 7 freezes the first time you open it after installing ATLAS. (also when opening Internet Explorer 7 after logging in as another user on the same PC)

Troubleshooting
If Internet Explorer 7 freezes, close it. The problem will be resolved next time you open Internet Explorer 7.
4. Mouse translation in Internet Explorer 7
Problem
The mouse translation tool does not work properly in Internet Explorer 7.

Troubleshooting
Use clipboard translation or one of the other translation tools.
